Rules that hold at the table. Store pages that hold on a phone.
Table Theory LLC is a Denver company that works on two kinds of reading. At the table, we edit rulebooks, run playtest sessions, and shape game-night formats for tabletop games. On the screen, we help mobile game and app teams prepare store listings, plan player growth campaigns, and read campaign and ad results without guesswork.

Three working propositions
-
A rule is finished when a new player can use it without asking.
We read every rule as if we had never seen the game, and we mark each place where a first-time player would stop and reach for the book.
-
A store page is a rules summary for strangers.
Before anyone installs a game, the listing has to say what it is, who it suits, and what data it handles. We prepare that page with the same care as a first-turn rule.
-
Numbers describe a table; they do not promise one.
Campaign and ad reports tell you what happened. We read them carefully, explain what they can and cannot show, and never promise installs, rankings, or revenue.
Six practice areas
Three areas sit at the physical table. Three sit on the screen. Most projects use one or two of them, not all six.

Rulebook Editing
We edit rulebooks, reference cards, and quick-start sheets so the order of play, the edge cases, and the end condition read the same to every player.
-
Playtest Sessions
We plan and host structured playtests, record where players hesitate or disagree, and return a written summary with suggested rule changes.
-
Table Formats
We design game-night formats for stores, clubs, and events: player counts, session length, setup order, and teaching scripts.

Store Listing Preparation
We prepare app store listing materials for mobile games and companion apps: descriptions, screenshot plans, feature lists, and a checklist for privacy and support links.
-
Player Growth Planning
We help teams plan how new players find a game: audience definitions, channel options, budgets, creative briefs, and launch timing, within each platform's advertising policies.
-
Campaign & Ad Readouts
We read campaign and in-app advertising reports, explain retention and placement results in plain language, and suggest what to test next.
-
Table Theory does not claim partner status with Google, Meta, or any app store, and does not sell installs, reviews, or rankings.
How a project runs
Read the full method-
1
Brief
You send the game, app, or rule set you want us to look at, and the decision you need to make.
-
2
Read
We read, play, or review the material, and agree on scope and dates in writing before work starts.
-
3
Mark up
We return marked-up files, session notes, or a readout, with the reason behind each suggestion.
-
4
Close
We walk through the results with you. The project closes when the agreed files are delivered.
